Fullers Hill Fire Ex Racehorse 1999 – 2016 by Lord Americo (IRE) was competing BD Dressage and Shown latterly by Clare Yetton (photo to the right)

Fullers Hill Fire started his racing life in Ireland and then was taken over to the West Country as a Point to Pointer, he was found and purchased by Deborah Sanders at a yard near Brighton back in 2007.   At that time he only worked to the left and refused to bend to the right but after 5 years of re-training he enjoyed a very busy year of BD Dressage under his racing name Mighty Mississippi.   Due to some unsoundness issues he has was semi retired and was shown in hand, seen here with Clare qualifying at the an In Hand Hunter Qualifier during 2015.

Deborah Sanders the Farm Manager at Fullers Hill Farm has always had a special fondness for ex racehorses having owned 5 and in particular her own Fullers Hill Fox below, who started his racing life in Ireland before being brought over to the Ascot Sales in June 2010 where he was purchased by her as a companion for Mighty above, but he also proved himself in BD Dressage under his racing name So U Know.   Ex racehorses can do well after the track, but it takes time and patience, and an acceptance that you may need more help with the training than originally expected, he is now enjoying his retirement at Fullers Hill Farm.

Fullers Hill Finale 2010 or Mac as he is known at home is an Oldenburg gelding with bloodlines descended from Sandro Hit and Donnerhall (photo to the left)

A perfect prospect at Amersham Dressage for a future in BD. Ridden by Amersham Dressage’s Philippa Dimmock and Clare Yetton; Mac has also been based with Dutch Trainer Jeroen Hullsman in Holland and Advanced Dressage Rider Jayne Turney he is now successfully working up the BD gradings with Jack Boarder and qualified for the Novice Winter Championships in January 2020, see below.   We now want to head him now toward the Music Freestyle classes where is natural talent for lateral work can be fully utilised.
